Brief Case Study: NHHEAF I Am College Bound Website

The New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) Network Organizations, comprising of three active non-profit agencies, came to wedü with the goal of creating a website to engage and educate potential New Hampshire college students about the various programs available to help them apply for and afford college while also encouraging them to consider New Hampshire institutions. The website would be the cornerstone of a fully-integrated campaign using statewide mass media. wedü conceptualized and built a website (www.iamcollegebound.org) with a look and feel catered to the target demographic: high school students. The site is fun and playful, incorporating a vibrant color scheme, engaging, age-appropriate copy and loads of useful information to encourage students to educate themselves about the resources available to them through the NHHEAF Network. The site prompts high school students to engage and provides true value and education. For instance, students can create profiles or “Student IDs,” engage in different activities that produce incentives such as prizes from New Hampshire colleges and even iPads, and students can “take the pledge,” promising to stay focused on one’s higher education goals. wedü continues to help the NHHEAF Network develop fun and creative promotions for New Hampshire’s prospective college students.
